Nursing and Finance: Partnering to Improve the
Value Equation Workshop
What is the economic value of nursing and how can it be determined accurately? With payment incentives shifting and health care reform continuing to transpire, providers must be able to identify costs within a system. The new second curve market will demand performance, based on the delivery of value. These, among other hot-button issues surrounding the value of nursing in the current healthcare reform environment, will be addressed at the Nursing and Finance Workshop. Hosted by the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders (IONL), this workshop is one that you will leave feeling informed and empowered because nursing and financial experts will provide practical approaches that address how these two groups of professionals can work together to effectively demonstrate the economic value of nursing – and affect positive change in healthcare.
