Dr. Novotny will present her research on predicting early hospital readmission for a cohort of adult inpatients using the Probability of Repeated Admission (Pra) instrument—which built on her work shared at The Society for Hospital Medicine. Dr. Novotny is the principal investigator of a current study entitled: "Predicting Patients who are Likely to be Readmitted to the Hospital within a Month”. In this session she will discuss her research findings and the use of Pra in clinical settings.
