Annual Conference

IONL’s two-day premier annual event brings together nurse leaders from every level of the profession for relevant education, in-depth discussion, and networking.

Aspiring Nurse Leader Workshop

One-day workshop designed for staff nurses, charge nurses, nurse coordinators, nurse managers and directors who aspire to greater heights in their career. Includes overview of AONE & ANCC certifications.

Charge Nurse Series

Designed specifically for charge nurses and relief charge nurses, this series offers four lunchtime webinars leading up to an in-person, half-day workshop taking place as a pre-conference for the Annual Conference. Ideal for both groups and individual participants looking to enhance their skills in leading successful teams.

 

Essentials Workshop

Held as a pre-conference to the Annual and Mid-Year conferences, this two-hour workshop and lunch provide an opportunity for nurse leaders to learn about requirements for nursing practice and care delivery across the continuum in Illinois and network with peers.

Finance Workshop

NEW IONL program! This one-day workshop is designed for staff nurses, charge nurses, nurse coordinators, nurse managers and directors. Attendees will discuss financial topics related to nursing administration, including healthcare budgeting, productivity, and more.

Illinois Nursing Leadership Fellowship

This immersive program is dedicated to the development and support of managers and new directors from diverse practice environments throughout the state. Incorporating education, mentoring, and networking, the fellowship is designed to build and enhance leadership skills and competencies. The program runs from November through July and consists of four interactive sessions (1.5 days each), independent work, and a project in the participant’s workplace setting.

 

Lunch and Learn Webinars

IONL brought back their afternoon webinar series for those that are looking for readily available, timely and compelling online professional development programs.

 

Midwest Institute for Healthcare Leadership

For managers and directors in any healthcare role--including CNOs and CEOs--this program is designed to teach essential business techniques and demonstrate how these techniques can be applied within the healthcare field in Illinois. Presented by Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business faculty over 2.5 days, the program focuses on key topics related to the future of healthcare management in a rapidly transforming delivery system.

Mid-Year Conference

IONL’s one-day Mid-Year Conference provides education and insight on the most relevant topics in today’s healthcare delivery system.

 

NC3-Nursing Care Webinars

This free webinar series is designed to provide an opportunity for collaboration, education and idea-sharing for the state-mandated Nursing Care Committees. The series covers a new topic each month and is open to all.
