Special Announcement on IONL Management
Tuesday, May 17, 2016
Over the last four years, IONL has enjoyed the tremendous leadership and service of its Executive Director, Sharon V. Rangel MSN, MBA, RN. Sharon expanded our networking and educational programs for members across the continuum; brought us timely, cutting-edge information when we needed it; and was instrumental in launching new training programs and scholarships to develop the nurse leaders of tomorrow. As you can likely relate, Sharon has missed the direct connection with patients and has decided to transition back into the hospital setting. Please join me in congratulating her on her new role as Manager of Patient Care Services at Little Company of Mary Hospital. Rest assured Sharon will remain an integral part of IONL through her involvement as a volunteer leader on our program committee.
Looking ahead, it is my pleasure to announce that IONL will now be managed by a proven association management firm based in Chicago, which will prove to be budget neutral. Sentergroup has over 10 years' experience in bringing efficiencies and growth to associations. They also happen to have worked with IONL for the past three years, helping to plan and execute our educational programs, add dimension and functionality to our quarterly newsletter, and support our everyday business operations. In short, Sentergroup knows us and we know them.
The team at Sentergroup, consisting of experienced association professionals in meetings and education, marketing and communications, and administration and operations, will be led by our new Executive Director, Michelle Goldberg. I am more than confident in the skills and expertise Michelle and Sentergroup's entire team of professionals possess and look forward to what they can do to bring even more value to you as IONL members.
Please visit our new headquarters page to view our complete roster of professional staff now dedicated to both you and the organization's growth and success. Please also note that our contact information, including phone number and mailing address, remain the same.
I thank you for your continued support of IONL and look forward to the great things ahead for our organization.
