Participants experience learning through a variety of methods including:

  • Interactive Sessions- Meet four times during the year  
  • Independent Work- Complete readings and assignments between sessions
  • Virtual Environment- Communicate on-line with faculty and each other between sessions
  • Experiential Learning- Apply skills and tools in the workplace
At the end of the program the participant will be able to:
  • Identify self as a leader
  • Describe the leader’s impact on an organization
  • Increase self-awareness of strengths and areas of growth, specifically as it impacts one’s team
  • Demonstrate understanding and enhanced competencies in the areas of system thinking, conflict resolution, negotiation, change agency, team functioning, and managing one’s time
  • Identify strengths and how they may be applied to challenges
  • Identify “tools” which will enhance the impact of their leadership
  • Engage in one challenge in the workplace where they can apply enhanced competencies
