Committees are created by the IONL Board of Directors and/or President. These committees are vital to the success of our organization as a whole. Without you, the vital work of our association could not be accomplished!

Continuum of Care Committee

The Continuum of Care Committee serves as a conveyor for networking, dialogue and supportive programming for leaders across the continuum.

Meets quarterly on a Thursday at 4:00pm.

Member Engagement Committee

Organizes the campaign to attract new members and retain those we have. Therefore, it is necessary to put in place a twelve-month program of membership development and to place similar importance on retaining the maximum number of existing members.

Meets the third Thursday of each month at 12:00pm.

NC-3 Committee

NC-3 brings collaboration, education, and sharing for our state mandated Nursing Care Committees. The purpose is to promote quality of care and improve the delivery of healthcare services through a lively exchange of ideas among nursing care committees throughout the state of Illinois.

Meets the fourth Monday of most months at 1:00pm.

Policy & Advocacy Committee

Identifies major policy issues to monitor and what steps can be taken to alert and advise members. Oversees IONL’s legislative activities and develops resources for members to help members lobby successfully.

Meets the second Wednesday of each month at 3:30pm.

Program Committee

The Program Committee is responsible for ensuring that IONL’s mission is reflected in the programming of the mid-year and annual conference. The committee is responsible for identifying the educational needs of the membership and creating quality, value-added programs to enhance the membership’s knowledge, professionalism and business acumen.

Meets the second Thursday of each month at 3:00pm.
