Title: BSN in 10: The Latest Across the US and in Illinois
Description:
Two
state-wide Summits have been held in Illinois about increasing the number of
baccalaureate prepared nurse in Illinois. Challenges and barriers are analyzed,
and Illinois regional models will be shared.
Objectives:
- Review the history of BSN in 10
- Discuss the content & the outcomes of Summit I
- Discuss the content & the outcomes of Summit II
- Discuss future direction/legislation
- Discuss how agencies/organizations may become part of Summit III or the legislative process
This
continuing nursing education activity was submitted for approval to the Illinois
