Held as a pre-conference to the Annual and Mid-Year conferences, this two-hour workshop and lunch provide an opportunity for nurse leaders to learn about requirements for nursing practice and care delivery across the continuum in Illinois and network with peers.
This one-day workshop is designed for staff nurses, charge nurses, nurse coordinators, nurse managers and directors. Attendees will discuss financial topics related to nursing administration, including healthcare budgeting, productivity, and more.
This immersive program is dedicated to the development and support of managers and new directors from diverse practice environments throughout the state. Incorporating education, mentoring, and networking, the fellowship is designed to build and enhance leadership skills and competencies. The program runs from November through July and consists of four interactive sessions (1.5 days each), independent work, and a project in the participant’s workplace setting.
For managers and directors in any healthcare role--including CNOs and CEOs--this program is designed to teach essential business techniques and demonstrate how these techniques can be applied within the healthcare field in Illinois. This full-day program focuses on key topics related to the future of healthcare management in a rapidly transforming delivery system.
