Midwestern Institute for Nursing Leadership
January 15-17, 2013
IONL is pleased to present the esteemed Midwest Institute for Nursing Leadership. This is a 2 ½ day program that has been attended by the majority of Illinois’ most distinguished nursing leaders. Kellogg draws program topics from its existing, highly regarded executive programs but has been tailored to meet IONL’s needs. Additionally, you will earn 21 contact hours of continuing nursing education. Enhance your management skills which will improve your organizational effectiveness, leading to better patient care. The program design will include material on:
• Assessing Risky Management Decisions- Making Wise & Careful Choices
• Negotiating Productive Agreements
• Finance and Accounting
• Operations & Lean Operations

Lodging: Lodging will be available at the Allen Center and is not included in the registration fee. The Allen Center is a modern facility overlooking Lake Michigan and featuring eight classrooms, 41 team breakout rooms, an exercise room and 150 bedrooms.

The Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders Board of Directors makes scholarship awards that support Illinois nurses to attend the Midwest Institute for Nursing Leadership. Two scholarships are awarded each year to cover half of the registration fee for active IONL members. CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS - The applicant must be a full member of IONL.
- The applicant must hold an Illinois license and be a resident of the State, or employed in Illinois.
- Active participation within IONL.
