Domestic violence is far more prevalent that we realize. More than likely one of your staff is suffering from domestic violence at the hand of spouse or partner. Do you and your staff know which warning signs to look for? Is your organization a safe place were an employee can seek help? Come hear the latest research on the impact of domestic violence on the nurses who work in your organization and the impact on your organization. Dr. Katula's research reveals how abusers will hassle their victims (your staff) in the work environment. Dr. Katula will offer a series of interventions currently implemented in one area hospital.

Objectives:

- Participants will identify the signs and symptoms of an abused employee
